MACY REEVES
Tap and Jazz
Macy Reeves grew up in Swainsboro where she danced for 15 years studying tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, and partnering. She obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance at Oklahoma City University under the direction of Jo Rowan. She performed for Royal Caribbean Productions where she was a featured dancer and lead aerialist.
Macy has performed in numerous regional theater shows all over the country, such as 42nd Street at the Tuacahn Center of Performing Arts, along with Cinderella, My Fair Lady, Crazy For You at the Arizona Broadway Theater, and Urban Cowboy at the West Virginia Public Theater.
Macy has taught master classes in every form of dance to students of every age; she has coached and choreographed for numerous contestants in the Miss America Pageant system, as well as choreographing competitive dances and special performances for studios in the Southeast. Macy currently teaches dance in Astoria and is a NY State licensed Massage Therapist.
